Since 2015.
Before becoming a global goalkeeper community, BAJO PALOS began on humble training grounds, with improvised cameras, passion for the game, and countless hours dedicated to goalkeeping.
OUR HISTORY
It all started in 2015, at a time when specific goalkeeper training barely existed in many amateur football clubs.
In Cangas de Onís, finding a goalkeeper coach was almost impossible. So everything began in the simplest way possible: two friends, a football, and a huge desire to improve.
Luismi, an amateur goalkeeper at the time, and Sergio started creating their own training sessions inspired by videos and methodologies they found online. In an era with far fewer resources, every session became an opportunity to learn, experiment, and continue growing between the posts.
At the beginning, there was barely any training equipment or proper filming resources available. Most of the time, they had to improvise with whatever they could find, recording content with very basic tools and adapting to every situation just to keep training and sharing their passion for goalkeeping.
Little by little, they started publishing those training sessions on social media, connecting with other goalkeepers who shared the same passion for the position. Over time, the community grew alongside the quality of both the training sessions and the content itself.
As the project evolved, collaborations and support opportunities also began to appear, helping improve the equipment, the training methods, and the production quality — while always staying true to the same spirit that started it all.
However, the journey also changed over time. Due to premature hip osteoarthritis, Luismi gradually had to step away from competition and eventually underwent hip resurfacing surgery.
Far from ending the project, that stage marked a new evolution.
Today, Luismi continues to be a key part of the school as a coach and an essential figure within the project, while the team keeps creating content, training sessions, and experiences to help new goalkeepers grow both on and off the pitch.
Today, BAJO PALOS collaborates with RG Goalkeeper Gloves on different projects related to goalkeeper training and digital content creation.
Because BAJO PALOS was never only about making saves.
It has always been about truly living the goalkeeper life.

2016
First training videos
In 2016 we began publishing our first videos of specific training for goalkeepers, sharing exercises, tasks and complete sessions on social networks.
From the beginning, BAJO PALOS was born with a clear idea: to train, create content and share the goal from within.
2018
We even trained in the snow
Neither the cold, nor the rain, nor the snow could stop our desire to continue training and creating content.
In a time with few resources, we took advantage of any day and any condition to continue learning, recording exercises and enjoying goalkeeping.
Because BAJO PALOS was never born from comfort.
It was born out of passion.
2018
The flashing lights reached BAJO PALOS
In 2018 we began to introduce new training methodologies and tools for goalkeepers.
After contacting various international brands related to specific training, we received our first professional reaction light system, FITLIGHT® SYSTEM, used to work on reflexes, coordination, and gestural speed.
That moment marked a turning point in the evolution of our training and content.
2018
🏆 We won our first big competition
In 2018 BAJO PALOS was selected as the winner of a national competition related to the world of goalkeeping.
That moment was a great motivation to continue growing, creating content and specific training for goalkeepers.
Beyond the award, it was a sign that all the work we were building was starting to have an impact.
Because before the collaborations, the brands, and the projects… there was already a clear idea:
to truly experience goalkeeping.
2019
The stop that ended up in our logo
In 2019 we captured one of the most representative images of BAJO PALOS.
A Luismi stop that, over time, would end up transforming into the silhouette that is now part of our visual identity.
Because some moments don't just stay in a photo.
They become history.
2019
Our first events for goalkeepers
In 2019 BAJO PALOS began to organize its first events and specific days for goalkeepers.
Little by little, the project also began to grow outside of social media, taking our passion for goalkeeping to face-to-face activities and live training sessions.
We organized our first goalkeeper skills clinic with the support of Globalporteros.
Because everything we did on the internet... we also experienced in the countryside.
2020
❤️ Our story with RG began
In December 2020, the first collaboration between BAJO PALOS and RG Goalkeeper Gloves began.
After years of creating content and training for goalkeepers, we are starting a new stage working together with one of the most recognized brands in the goalkeeping world.
Those first videos and posts marked the beginning of a relationship that, over time, would become a fundamental part of BAJO PALOS' evolution.
Because some important stories... begin without imagining all that will come later.
2021-2022
BAJO PALOS began to become a community
Between 2021 and 2022, BAJO PALOS made a huge leap in social networks and digital platforms.
Our training sessions, challenges, exercises, and posts began to reach thousands of goalkeepers in different countries, connecting with a new generation that was looking for different, creative, and real content.
Some posts surpassed hundreds of thousands of views, consolidating a community organically built around goalkeeping and specific training.
BAJO PALOS is no longer just a training account.
It became a space where thousands of goalkeepers shared the same passion.
2024
The first goalkeeping school in Eastern Asturias was founded
In 2024, BAJO PALOS took a new step with the creation of the first Technical Training School for Football Goalkeepers in Eastern Asturias.
What began years ago as a passion for goalkeeping ended up becoming a real training project for new generations of goalkeepers.
BAJO PALOS went from creating content about goalkeepers… to training goalkeepers on the field.

BAJO PALOS Today
Today, BAJO PALOS continues to create content, training, and experiences for goalkeepers.
What began as a passion among friends ended up becoming a community followed by thousands of goalkeepers.
Currently, BAJO PALOS collaborates with RG Goalkeeper Gloves on various projects related to training and content creation for goalkeepers.
But the essence remains the same:
Experience the goalkeeping position from the inside.
Because BAJO PALOS never just tried to stop balls.
He always tried to truly experience being a goalkeeper.
